Where to Nab the Game:

The Rules: Please list your TNL name and online name (if different) as well as your total score. Since scores are very dynamic, please limit yourself to a once-per-day submission detailing your current standing. Competition within the TNL community is ideal, so try to stick to or create rooms where we'll all be able to find each other.
Avatar Choice: Different avatars mean different items and attack patterns. I've no idea what the attack patterns themselves mean, so I'd appreciate it if someone could let me in on that.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine/s_chara6.txtBasic Item Information:
Items can only be collected by destroying them with other bubbles, or by placing the item bubble within a successful combo. You cannot collect items via line deletes. Items must be used in the order collected, so be careful not to line delete your foes.
Right click on the play-field of an opponent or ally to use an item. Right click on your own play-field to use items on yourself.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine...linedelete.txt - 2 Line Delete. Use on yourself or ally - Be careful not to deploy this against a foe.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine...linedelete.txt - Same story, 4 lines this time.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine/ico_chaos.txt - Chaos. The bubble-aimer becomes invisible.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine/ico_darkness.txt - Darkness. Obscures play field for a set period.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine/ico_guideline.txt - Guideline. Aids in aiming.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine/ico_lightning.txt - Lightning. Aimer becomes difficult to control.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine/ico_secret.txt - Secret. The color of the bubble you are about to shoot remains obscured until it actually deploys.
http://www.geocities.com/interimkine/ico_timeattack.txt - Time attack. The amount of time you have to aim your shot is greatly decreased.
Bubble Attacks: As you progress throughout a game and score successful bubble combos, you will accumulate 'bubble attacks.' These are indicated by bubble icons right above your item inventory, and can be launched at any time or accumulated up to 5 large bubbles. Click on an opponent's playfield to launch these bubble attacks, or click on a team-mate's playfield to help clear their screen. Co-operation is necessary within team-based competitions, so be sure to keep tabs on how your allies are doing.
This is just a brief guide at best, so additions and clarifications are very much welcome.

My score thus far- 1158.
The attack patterns seem to me to be the pattern of bubble colors an opponent recieves when you send them bubbles. I could be wrong, though, and probably am. Whenever I pay attention to an opponent's attack pattern, I often seem to get a lot more of one color (usually Black) than their attack patterns let on.
Wild guess- Your attack pattern could indicate the pattern of colors you recieve when attacked?
[Edit] Almost forgot, my avatar of choice is the wind-up robot, "Zenchan", if I'm reading the Hiragana correctly, Which I'm probably not.

Hmmm - I suppose it might be, but I've received some attacks that were largely one colour, so I kind of have to wonder. Maybe we should start a game sometime specifically for the purpose of figuring the game out as best we can. Kind of difficult to think things through when you're being suffocated under a pile of bubbles.
Also, I was in a game this evening with a bunch of other people with around 1000 pts or so each. I managed to lose, and lost 19 points. Grah! So I think it's safe to say that at least one of the things that affects points received/deducted are the relative levels of the other players.

As of now I've got 1254. I've been using Bob(?) the blue dino. I'm not quite sure about the attack pattern thing either.

Hehe... just got my ass handed to me by a couple of japanese girls. Aparently they got mad when I missed an opportunity to save my teammate-
"stupid cigs"
"why didn't you give Yume those balls?"
"YEAH"
I didn't quite know what they meant (got it now ;), and said I did my best. One of their names was "Cocacola"
I then said I preferred Pepsi...
Then they slaughtered me. :D
-
Haha. A group of us got violated by a single Japanese girl the other day as well. She handed us our asses in under minutes, said "I'm Japamese girl! Bye!" and then left.
It was both wondrous and fearful to behold.
I'm beginning to the think the 'attack pattern' is a pattern you must emulate on your own playfield to launch a special attack. I say this because the other day I hit a chain that distributed two large bubbles to each and every other player, as well as built up my own bubble reserve. The only time I'd seen that before was from the aforementioned Japanese player.

Haha. Very nice, Regus. We do need to raise awareness (i.e. spread the sickness) about this lovely game.
I'd also like to recant my previous statements about the 'attack formation.' It appears all that's necessary to distribute those extra attacks automatically across the boad is to drop a metric tonne of bubbles simultaneously. I'm thinking Pehd must be right after all.
Can anyone here take in-game screens? I'd like to dissect those little ranking doo-dads out for use in this thread as well.

That was taken before me and Cigs owned a couple of chumps in a few team games, so my score is a little higher now.
-
Thank ye. That should do nicely.
...And there we go. Let me your guys' current score and I'll get you accounted for.
