RCA Home Theatre in a box
Remember, I'm college student and I make only so much money with my current job. I don't want to spend more than $250, but in this case, it's a few dollars more. I just want to get more sound out of my current consoles. :) Thanks for the help.

That looks like a decent surround sound system and not a bad price :)
The best way to tell is to see if a store around you has the same one and try it out, even if you don't buy it there you can get a good idea if you will like it or not. I did that with my speakers :)
I started out like that, thinking I'd spend no more than $250, but, there's nothing that I wouldn't have to buy over again in that price range. I eventually caved and got a $500 Onkyo set.
Not sure what my point is, but don't expect anything too amazing in that range. If you must, I'd go with Masters suggested Kenwood over the RCA, because RCA = :(

You won't really get an accurate representation of the sound in a Best Buy... but if thats the only place that has the system you're looking for, its better than nothing.
Bastards done ditched the phono inputs.
Hmmmm...shipping is about $60. :( Maybe it's better off spending the extra $25 and buying it in person at Best Buy.Quote:

Hm... I think you might end up replacing/upgrading certain componets ('woofer in particular), but it looks like a decent set up all in all.
