Angel and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer

Great episode tonight, Illyria seems to be an interesting character and I want to see her fight some more. Fred could always come back; nobody is dead for good in this universe. And Doyle isn't coming back ever, that would just be tacky.


In cancellation news, the site my sig links to raised a little over $15,000 and plans on running a few full page ads in a couple of magazines and putting up a billboard in Hollywood for 2 weeks at the middle of this month. And UPN has officially said they won't pick it up since it's too far into its lifecycle to be worth the money. The other networks they're shopping it around to are FOX, SCI-FI & TBS.

The episode was great. For some reason I more attracted to Illyria than Fred. She will probably be a good guy, but for right now she's trying find her place in new world.

Yes, I know. That's why I said demon form so he'd look the same. Whedon could always just write in the story that Doyle's body was destroyed but his soul has taken a new form in the form of a new body. That character was awesomely written.

There's also buzz around that WB had pressure placed on them from a lot of their shareholding companies to uncancel the show. They seem to love the production quality and great writing and feel canning it right now would be a poor move for the network.

Spec says that they've already dotted on the line for a sixth season, but are waiting to make it official until they see the numbers raise up a little bit.

I personally hope it's true. I'll be sad when Angel ends but if it gets one final season to cap it off properly I'll be a happy camper.

Charisma Carpenter is gonna be in PLayboy.

Dammit. I was hoping to see a few more seasons. I absolutely love Spike's humor on Angel.
