Preach on! I swear to god I wish I could go back in time and kick the shit out of whoever thought rubberband AI was a good idea. There are so many racing games I can't enjoy because of it. A game like RC Pro Am deserves better than that.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head. There have been numerous games that have it, including RC Pro Am, Looney Tunes Space Race, and the biggest offender, Mario Kart 64. I'm pretty sure alot of people can't stand to play anything but multi-player in MK64 because of it.
rc pro am has some of the most insane ai i've ever seen. after a few tracks, the yellow car usually decides to go to warp speed. literally twice as fast as your own car. there's no way to catch up, save for a few lucky missles. i thought that it might be a glitch, but there's a sound effect that plays whenever the car blasts off. very strange..Quote:

There's a lot of unnecessary obnoxious characters on that list, but it doesn't bother me much. Although I'd rather see Nintendo Kart, as some of you put it.
Diddy and Dixie are in it?! Pfff lame, I hate those two. And they have never had anything to do with a Mario game. Why not have Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr., since they have actually been in the same game as Mario.
