The intention of the thread was to try to tell people an obvious bit of news that they may have not seen (it happened on the 26th, didnt read about it today apparently), news that shows the type of crazy shit some people are doing, and in France.
Were I neutral on France or if I were sympathetic to their situation, I'd think you were trying to be anti-French. (I'm not, I'm not, and I don't think so, but that's beside the point.)
A better title might have been, "French protestors deface graveyard" or something to that effect.
