New abilites for the next Shinobi may include the ancient art of anti-repetitiveness.
:confused: So yeah, opinion is divided on this game. A few of us think of it as the best PS2 games around, while others complain that it's too repetitive for their tatses.
So what do you think of this game?
I definitely like it. It has tons of style and tate is really cool. The level designs are boring though.
It's certainly not the best game in the series but it's certainly not the worst either.
I like it better than the rolling thunderesque shinobi's. I don't know about the 2 super shinobi's(3 and revenge) though.
Not too good...Not too bad. I liked it except for the repetitiveness and the difficulty, pretty fun once you got past the frustration though.
Contrary to popular belief, I actually do like the game.
I just don't want to play it ever again.

Nice av Sidez...Alien Soldier? I just borrowed the game recently (been wanting to play it again for some time) I am currently on stage 7A and I've only had it for a day. I agree that the game is repetitive but I couldnt stop playing it--the level I hated the most was 5A--the water level but I overcame my frustration. It felt like the old Shinobis in the sense that you learn the levels and start blowing through them. Also the boss designs are pretty impressive just like the old games. So I say thumbs up--I hope they improve on the graphics, level design and the camera and give us more unlockable characters. Heck just bring Joe Musashi back as the hero.
Good game. Not as good as the old 2D Shinobis, IMO, but certainly leagues above Shinobi for the Saturn.
And definitely a good 3D update for the series.
I just wish Joe Musashi had a part in it to tie it in better to the old ones. I haven't bothered to beat the game yet, so I really don't know if he's in there or not. I'm guessing no.
It wasn't fun or enthralling for me and if they're going to make a sequel try not making it so cheesy.Quote:
