Anyone here has successfully taken out the transparent BB sticker that covers the entire CD/DVD? Just curious....

I've never done it, but I have seen the results. Even if you do get it off, it leaves sticky residue on the top of the disk; if its a PS2 or XBox game its got a high probability of getting stuck in the system.
So, just don't look, so you won't be tempted.
Those stickers suck ass, they ripped the sticker on my Ninja Gaiden Trilogy :-(
That's why you should buy your used games from Gamestop ;)
Yup. EB's not much better thanks to them putting a nice, big sealing sticker over the side of the case. Gamestop's the way to go for used stuff.
I've peeled a couple off of disc based games without any problems. Only onece did it leave behind a bunch of sticky gunk, which I managed to remove by pressing the disc shield back on the game and pulling it off repeatedly until there was no more stuff stuck to the game.
I'd also try a product called "Goo Gone". It gets rid of sticky shit like price tag crud, and I highly doubt it will damage a disc.
Blame the fucking assholes who try to cheat the store for those stickers, not EB.
Just ask them to write "no return" on the recipt instead of putting the sticker on.Quote:

Works like a charm.
I'm pretty sure they dont come off, cuz if they did people would take them of before they sell rented copies to Gamestop...
Nothing is written on the discs at GS.
