Thanks, Thief. I had been going to GE since 1996. They had everything, including some hard to find PSX games that no one else had. It's obvious that the internet has taken buisness away from the little indy shops. Oh well. :(

I have not seen an import store in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, since Die Hard Gameclub. I wish I had such an option here.
They've split like melons all over, it's all in what area you're in. The one next to me is called "CD/Game Exchange" while the one a few miles away is simply "The Exchange." I think a few rogue factions are abound, but it's odd having all these stores that were once one chain completely disconnected.Quote:

Well the two brothers had a falling out, and they split up, the brother who left having the title to the name. So in order to prevent getting sued, or closed down, they changed to "The Exchange" a few months ago. So it narrowly avoided getting closed down.
The one near me has some absolutely great deals going on right on, with a bunch of excellent $10-15 PS2 and XBox games (I think the GC ones aren't quite there yet), but I'm restraining because of saving up. I hate being responsible, even if it means I'll be able to buy even more games in the end. I should go ahead and stock up on $2 VMUs, though.
We had a DieHard Game Club on Long Island. That place was the coolest gaming shop I've EVER been in. All the sudden....*POOF*.....it was gone. :(Quote:

Some of these online game stores need to start going under. I'd really like to see some of the shittier competition go away for good.
/me glares in the general direction of buyrite.
People like BuyRite. Don't ask me why.
A friend of mine buys stuff from them all the time and "has no problem."
Well, they lied to me and stole my shipping money. They deserve the worst.
/me can only buy imports through the internet. :(
/me considers opening an import shop in PR.
NCSX has my vote of confidence. They've been very reliable when I've ordered stuff. I heard plenty of negative things about Buy-Rite.
In reality, I had no clue that they even existed across the nation, I guess it doesn't really matter that they split, least the company still exists. I can't say they have many PS2 games or X-Box games around here for 10-15 dollar's, but a lot of them are at 20, I wanted to get Legend of Legia 2, but I couldn't earlier. They have it for 22, but I may save up for Arc the Lad collection. I loved Legend of Legia by the way, so I looked forward to the game, but never could get it.Quote:

They don't (to my knowledge), but the different ones planted across Northeast Ohio are like that.Quote:
