Andy, they should release it at $20, but I guess they know the game is going to bomb, so they want to sell it for as high a price as possible. It's ass backwards logic to be sure though, since this game has next to no hype, and a $45 price tag doesn't exactly help matters.
-
The game wouldn't have to be a 'bomb' if it were $20. It obviously wouldn't be the next Halo, but a lot more people would give the game a chance for $20.
-
I know. That's why I made my crack at saying the game would probably bomb at $45 earlier in the topic. $20 would give the game a great chance at selling well. $45 is sales-suicide. Few are going to go out on a limb and try something new at that price.

New news on RaH No. 1- The Creamcast is in, unaltered from the DC original! New parody things are: Macrosoft (which is where a neighbor works) and Bimbows (which is what he uses as an example of what Macrosoft has done.) This game is going to be so great. I got that info from a staff member at www.Game2Extreme.com who has the demo of the game. The demo version that John from G2X is playing is 80% complete. The theme song from the JPN DC game is still in. The title screen featuring screens from the MD game might not be in the Xbox version, at least not yet. Also, in the 80% complete version, the translation isn't done yet. This could mean that translation problems are what caused the delay.

i was hoping for new that this came out this past week and that i just missed picking it up because of my focus on e3...:(
-
Well, hopefully the delay will help make the translation better. I would love to have the game in my hands right now, but I'll glady wait a couple of months for it to get a better product.

A friend of mine saw it at the AIA booth at E3. I totally spaced going to that booth, Rent A Hero would have been my only reason to go by there if I'd remembered it. As it was I saw the AIA booth and booked the other way, lest I accidentally see one of their GBA games and have to claw out my eyes.

Here's the back of the box, which looks hilarious:
