well... you are correct sir in your assumtion that I like both. I havent really ever dated any girls cus 1. usually the ones who I am mostly attracted to are... not datable or mentally unstable. 2. I have trust issues with females so I doubt I'd ever be able to be in a committed long term relationship with one. (though I am able to do that with men, well... one man inparticular; 6 months on the 17th)

and just being friends with chicks... well I even have problems with that. My only best chick friend... it was like dating a nuerotic, possesive, controlling bitcy girlfriend and never gettting any.

I don't really fit into any of the voting brackets, my personal opinion is that most women are not worth the effort. The ones that are, however, are very worth the effort. I have yet to decide whether those two balance each other out...

Just look for the good in everyone, and try to help them bring it out. If they refuse to even try, or don't want to, then it's probably not the right choice. This is just this single male's opinion, one who often finds himself infatuated with just about any woman proper age around him that makes him feel happy for a moment.

But in my ideals, women are well worth it, and vice versa. Worth it being that while you have to put up with some hard times, there is no physical abuse going on, or anything extreme and that you feel content (In friendship) or even a greater feeling than content (For a romantic relationship) unless your just asshole who thinks the payoff is sex.

I honestly can't think of anything I'd rather be doing than hanging with a female I find attractive.

That said it's certainly not always worth it, but life carries no guarantees, and shallow neurotics don't always have it spelled out on their foreheads. Science should do something about that.

Besides, if you're 100% hetero, it's not like this is really a choice.

To be perfectly fair, for every woman whose prime motivation is money, there's a guy who's only really interested in a woman because of her looks. They usually end up together.

Women: impossible to understand. No one understands them, not even they themselves. They defy all definitions of logic. Have way too many issues that, once again, they themselves don't quite even understand.

And they're expensive to upkeep.

Well worth it. As irritating as women can be (from my perspective), I often find myself literally marvelling over women, and not simply how they look. They offer a stark contrast to men which, on the whole, is a good thing.
