Take heart my friend... if the LAN set-up works via the ethernet adapter, Gamespy will almost certainly be able to give us online play.Quote:

If you are waiting for internet play by nintendo, you are going to wait for a while. One of the higher ups recently said they are '2-3' years away from doing that.
Might be BS to lull the competition, but I don't think so.
if they could at least get some 3rd parties to use the network adaptor then i wouldnt care so muchQuote:

other than phantasy star and ikaruga using it to upload rankings i think the only other game to use it is going to be NFL Blitz Pro and NHL Hitz Pro
Of course you do. So does every other gamer on the planet. Why Nintendo is ignoring online play, I have no idea.Quote:

But wait, I thought they were "the last company that really cares about gamers". Hmm...
Nintendo only cares about the bottom line. And virgins. Lots of them.

I have a feeling they will release Poke'man Stadium for online play. It won't require fast ping times, so the game will be accesible to both 56K and Broadband players. They probably don't want Yu-Gi-Oh to use the same ideas, before they release their game.
