Crimson Skies Lands on Xbox Live Fall 2003
We've been curious what became of Crismon Skies: High Road to Revenge after its initial demonstration at last year's E3. Apparently, Microsoft and its development team have been fine tuning the game to ensure its release offers a fulfilling and enjoyable online game experience.
Crimson Skies is one of several upcoming titles which will come complete with full Xbox Live support. Up to 16 players can get in on the action by competing online or via the system link (daisy-chaining multiple systems) and engage in a variety of game modes such as Dogfight, Flag Heist and Wild Chicken (your guess is as good as ours what that's all about). Plus, you'll be able to download exclusive content such as new maps and planes!
However, the action isn't limited just to aerial action, players can jump out of their plans and into stationary anti-aircraft vehichles and gun down the opposition. Clearly, this will be far from the typical flight simulation experience.
