I haven't heard much complaints about the other system's versions so yours might be just a defective copy if it continues doing that.

Viggo I don't really hate but I'm pretty indifferent towards him as I only play with Elise, Kaori, Mac and Zoe.

I can't be too sure, but I'd have to agree with this. Griff and Kaori, naturally, seem more oriented for tricks due to their size. The larger characters, such as Moby and Psymon, aren't as capable early on. If there are 'hidden stats' as such, I'd be rather surprised. That's a level of realism I didn't think SSX would ever touch.

you played the previous games, right? mac and kaori were always better at stunts than any of the other characters. now that they got rid of the boarding styles (racing, bordercross, tricky,) it's much harder to tell if the anyone has any innate advantages.

Okay. I was just informed that Churchill is an unlockable character.

...And he apparently looks just like my favorite classic Quake 3 model.

:P so far I've got Kaori's stats to 11.0 on every criteria, bought almost all her clothes and accessories [leaving out 3 board FX] . Bought everything in the Rewards column [art, posters, trading cards, character figures, unlockable characters] all i have left to buy is the Farside Myth who needs 100% in everything. This game is friggin long dude, just mastering one character takes a good 2 - 3 weeks minimum , now do it 9 more times. :|

You've not seen my friend Ty play. Honest to God, he can play twelve hours straight, and phenomenally well. Stats are up to an awesome (but not quite mastered) point in two days. It's insane.

I haven't been playing much, and I'm selling my game (need the cash) but I did manage to get Kaori close to mastering, as well as having Griff pretty well along on stats.
