how is falafel, there is a resturaunt near here that serves it, and i ahve been too chicken to try it, should i?
It's good stuff. I can get it around here with two falafels in a pita with lettuce and tomatoes, and it's great. I think they put this hummus sauce on there that's pretty bitter, but they might not do that at the place near you. Give it a try. :)

How the hell does Israel have a fucking independance day when it's an artificially created state? I don't recall Isreal gaining independance from anything.
"Independence" means Not(in-) Being Dependent. When the state was created, it became independent - not a colony, whatever. Becoming independent wasn't quite as remarkable as Israel's maintenance of its independence - maybe they should be celebrating that.
