RPGs do count my friend, not on the basis of beating them, but finding everything without Walkthroughs.
Well I suppose that is a good point... however I picked up a horrible habit from Rhydant and I always get strategy guides for RPGs... well not for Golden Sun, so I guess I mastered that game on my own!
What about those crazy items where you gotta like talk to one guy exactly 8 times then talk to his wife exactly 4 times then eat the second bowl of porridge on the table then smack your mom in the mouth and kick your dog in the throat and WALLA a magical sword appears?Quote:

Yep, some things in RPGs almost seem impossible without a walkthrough.

Mario Golf and Goldeneye. I suck at everything else.
Quake 3 Arena.. I used to own, but I haven't played it in months in exchange for Shadowbane.

Ahh I forgot about Mario Golf. Fun game.
I think I did everything a man can possibly do in that game.
I'm not the type of gamer who ever reaches an expert level a lot... I'm definitely above average in most games I dedicate to playing but I tend to have a problem to pushing myself past the "good" plateau.
My best games used to be Xmen Vs Streetfighter, Marvel Vs Streetfighter and Vampire Hunter.
XvSF was the first game I've ever won a tourney at and even then it's pretty lame tourney. Vampire Hunter was the game I was most competitive in the arcades I guess... I used to have a damn good Sasquatch and a good Raptor. The MvSF was the funniest because I insisted on playing a pink Dhalsim/Dan team. The look of shock of the endless waves of lame Shotokaners I beat were priceless. :D
I haven't been 'good' at a game in a long time now. Maybe it's because I insist doing stupid things like playing Ratio 4 Chang in CvS2 :D
When I used to play Team Fortress Classic, I was consistently in the top 5 on the server... as an HPB. Even with a ping of 250-320, I used to 0wn most everybody. Im glad that I was pretty great at the best game ever made. My specialty was soldier, but I was good with the engineer and medic too.
Then Valve released the 1.5 patch and completely destroyed the balance of the game. Ah well.
