Makes sense, since the 9700 is the most powerful video card out. For now...
the next big card to come out will be the Nvidia FX. and it will do everything the 9700 Radeon can do.... only 8 months later.
Seirra is going to have an awsome year. Half Life 2 and Homeworld 2. i dont think it can get any better!

nvidia has been trying to scoop up all the big games, but ati has gotten the biggest game!! HAHAHAHA
FX is allready out, and while it a bit faster than 9700 Pro, but not that great of an achivment. And ATI Radeon 9800 Pro is allready MUCH better than first FX cards.
from what i understand, nvidia has a semi-secret card (the nv35) that will be shown at e3, and on store shelves immediately (or very shortly) after the expo. it's said to wipe the floor with the 9800, but we'll know for sure at e3, i guess..

ATI had Doom III last year... I'm not suprised
