there is one arcade around here, but it is overridden with DDR players and MvsC2 fanboys. but they do have a Virtual On and a couple of Neo Geo cabs. thats about it, though. havent been to it in awhile, but i went to this restaraunt last week and spent $2 on Pacman. got past the 45th board. oh yeah. :D
Maybe a month+ ago... Played some Planet Harriers and House of the Dead III. No big deal. Wasn't in there for more than half an hour.
They need some more games that are actually worth a damn.
Been a couple weeks, sadly, but only because I've been really busy. I still frequent arcades, and still spend time trying to get that high score in raiden fighters or whatever.
Whenever I go to the mall, I usually stop in and play a round or two of CVS2, might even throw .75 into Pump It Up.
I play almost everyday at Playland here in State College -- one of the last great arcades around. Oh the games they have! There are a bunch of us who still play Marvel quite alot because well I love it and make everyone else play it. We have been doing a lot of low tier lately and will be running low tier tourneys during the fall semester.
Personally, this arcade does it right by having the mainstream stuff like racing, shooting games along with the niche stuff like MS 3 and 4. Plus we have a large Asian pop/girl gamers up here and the puzzle games get a lot of play.
I went to an arcade about two months ago, and left right after playing one game of Tekken 4. The game selection was pathetic.
A couple of weeks ago, to get my semi-regular Raiden Fighters Jet fix. Shame my visit coincided with one of my worst gaming performance days EVER :(

Since I was like....uhhhh..I'll say 8 I've made it a habit to stop by an arcade once a week. I started becomming a regular at Sunnyvale Golfland around the time Alpha 2 came out.
Rececently though, I've had to cut back drastically, so I really only get to stop by once a month for some CVS2 and IIDX =\ I'm scared of EVO2K3 now, I bet I'm really out of it.
