Not yet. They're aiming for a summer release there with the US release shortly afterwards. Atlus Japan has been pretty hush-hush about it, but now that Atlus USA got the word out, I expect Atlus Japan to do the same in a not-so distant future.

I'm dissapointed they're not keeping the Japanese names (I gotten so used to calling the guys Kunio & Riki), but that was to be expected. Hopefully a Double Dragon sequel will be made afterwards.

well, it wouldnt feel the same to me if they changed the names i've been accustomed to. hell, i've been playing it since it came out in 1989.

any time i play an import Technos RCR-universe title, its ok. but when it comes to RCR in the states; it has to be Alex and Ryan.

wouldn't feel right, nor would it feel the same. i've been playin it for over 10 years like that. gotta stay true to the roots baby(look at the avatar)

You're probably right. I must say that RCR was a much better cutural-translation than Stree Challenge was with it's faux-ghetto theme. Will RCREX have the guys in jeans and shirts or will they just be Americans in Japanese gakurans (like Persona)?
