I agree, connectivity should be a second hand edition, not the mainstay, and if it is, don't make it for every fucking game that comes out. The way they have it now, GBA's are just really expensive controllers.
I think Nintendo's real plans are to push its GBA audience to move on Gamecube and vice versa.

When GBA Zelda came out EB had ads in the major magazines and they had a mock up box for Zelda: Four Swords Gamecube next to the GBA Zelda. I thought it was a error but it appears now to have been someone jumping the gun.

packing a GBA SP with a GameCube is actually a great idea. the price will rise substantially, but tahts to be expected. too bad it wont happen though. then maybe id pick up a GC.

Did you notice the picture-in-picture bit in the first part of the video? I am pretty sure it will function without GBAs connected. I mean it would cost like over $500 dollars for a cube 4 GBAs and the game. The only other consumer game with the sort of cost of ownership was Steel Battalion, and that sold.... well?
Ack! Nintendo, what are you thinking! Give those graphics some current-gen love! I'm all for hand drawn 2D, but geez, a straight port of SNES visuals to the GAMECUBE?! That's just....lazy. Where's high-res high-color less-tile-laiden?
