Although I'm in Ohio, it had felt more like a day of Louisiana's summer today with high humidity and temperatures that hit around 94. This weather was definitely NSFPP (Not Suitable For Playing Putt-Putt). Not bad for staying inside and playing some Metal Slug 3 though.
It was horrrrrrrible again today. I had a few cold showers. That's the only thing that helps. I also went to the wonderfully air conditioned bookstore for a few hours. That was nice.
Hopefully well have an AC by the end of the week, so, naturally next week should be cold and rainy. :)
I'd really like to know the seran wrap answer... I suppose that futuristic utopia (not using Nirvana because of MVS's distaste for the word, actually...) or nirvana is just too far away for us to ever, truly, know the truth to this most puzzling of questions.
seran wrap: I hope that's a joke. If your clothes don't stop you from sweating, what makes you think plastic wrap will? You can't just *stop* your body from sweating. You'd feel really unconfortable and really fucking nasty.
Maybe, but it keeps you fresh for ten years.Quote:

Nah, it prevents freezer burn so you can hang out in your fridge.
Finally bought an air conditioner today. It was just installed and now it taking up arms in the just battle against the evil evil evil sun!!
Thank goodness too - I am completely at my wits end. I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown this morning. I have hardly slept in a week and I have not been able to get any work done because it's been like an oven in the appartment. ..
Air conditioners = The most important invention in the history of the universe.
I live in the sweltering heat of the central valley in Sacramento.
It gets very hot here, but it is tolerable because of the very low humidity. I feel for people who live say east of the Mississippi River (but not necessarily limited to) who suffer from the horrible effects of humidity.
Todays (6-26) high temperature in Sacramento was over 100, tomorrow it is suppose to be as hot or hotter, and I have two football games to play tomorrow evening.
I drink lots, and lots of water, over 10 glasses a day to stay hydrated because I play lots of sports. I always have a glass of water, or water bottle within arms reach.
I wear hats out in the sun, and sun screen at times, but obviously if it is really hot I stay inside if I can and kick up the AC.
Oh yeah, I sometimes use the nice swimming pool here at my complex, but usually in the late evening because it is to hot to go out there in the heat of the day.
