ALL reviews pretty much rip this because of the difficulty, but then again they did this with Shinobi PS2 and THANK GOD I didn't listen to "them" then. Shinobi for the PS2 was difficult but nowhere near the "totally impossible" vein it was painted as (sans the final boss:). Anyway, since the reviews are pretty much all saying the same thing, does that ever sway your opinion?
Is MMNT the 2D side-scroller-action looking one (from the one movie I saw anyway)?
Yes, it is. I want to read a couple more reviews (GameSpot in particular) before making up my mind. I am leaning toward purchasing it to support 2D gameplay, much like I did with Ikaruga on GC.Quote:

I'm definitely planning on picking it up. If not now, then definitely when it hits the $30 range.
I'll rent first. I want to see just how difficult it is before I buy it.

I remember EGM said something about the Battle Chip system not working well. Has anyone else heard of this?
The reviews/previews I've read have been less than stellar.
MMBN is one of my favorite series to come along in a long time, so I really want to love this, I'll probably try before I buy.
Hm. The only positive thing I gathered from the clip was that it was 2D. I'll wait until I hear some impressions from this board and check out some reviews. I actually haven't seen any yet, do you have a link to the ones you mention GV4L?Quote:

I'm pretty much just siting mags... 3 to be precise that rarely see eye 2 eye on anything all draw the same conclusion... too difficult. However, I remember going back to Old Mega Man games (X and 7:) after a lot of this fluff that is on the market today and even those are trying right off, perhaps they just didn't play it long enough to get back into the groove... time will tell. Mega Man is definately a series that requires more skill than luck, actually that makes me want to buy it on that fact alone. There aren't very many actually, esp. these days, GV is DEFINATELY one including of coarse Mega man...
In fact let's shift gears right here and talk about series in general that require more skill than luck.
