Bruce Almighty
Here is the plot: Bruce Nolan's (Jim Carrey) a ''human interest'' television reporter in Buffalo, New York. Despite his popularity and the affection of his girlfriend Grace (Jennifer Aniston), he's still not happy with his world. After the worst day of his life, he blames all of the problems of his existence on God. That's when the Almighty (Morgan Freeman) shows up in human form, and confronts him with a challenge. If he thinks he can do better, he's bound to try. Endowed with all the powers of the Creator, it's up to Bruce to make the planet a better place for all...

This movie to me will be like all the other Jim Carrey movies, fun and enjoyable.

I am really looking forward to this especialy after I found out that Jim Carey isn;t in Dumb And Dumberer. It looks really good and with Jenifer Aniston pushing her boobs up, where can you go wrong?
-
Good to see Carrey come back to comedy, something that he does best. The trailer looks pretty funny, so I'm excited about seeing it this weekend.
-
I haven't seen a comedy in a while, so I'm looking forward to this move.

just got back from the free screening. not bad, but with the matrial it should have been A LOT funnier.

Wow, I actually agree with Delta. *shudder* Buddy at the theatre got me into an employee screening tonight, and while it was a perfectly entertaining little comedy, they could have done a lot more with the concept, both in terms of the humor and the thematic elements.

I am going to see it, even though Jim Carrey has the same exaggerated facial expressions in every comedy he has ever done. Granted, that is his signature, and I enjoy his work - I just wish he would do one comedy with out the "shhhmokin'" face...
-
I saw it today - fairly entertaining, but not spectacular. They could have juiced the premise a bit more, it took too long for Carrey to turn into God, and the denouement was surprisingly treacle-y. I guess I should've expected that, since Shadyac directed Patch Adams, but still.
Jennifer Aniston looked mildly haggard, too, which kind of surprised me.

Jennifer Anniston really impressed me in "The Good Girl". She did a fantastic job and I really do commend her for dramatically stepping out of her "friends" role.
Maybe I shouldn't see Bruce Almighty after all... since it came out, I haven't heard very good reviews at all :(

I just saw the movie and it's a good family-comedy.
