Videogames: Same as everybody else.
Writing: I'm NOT particularly good at it, but I love it nonetheless. (I love reading, too, but that's more of a problem - to my wallet, that is.)
Music: Anything. Any genre. Whether you're cutting up beats on a turntable or strumming on a guitar in a ski lodge, I love it.
Pissing people off, I love it.
Sadly it doesnt work that well with a high pitched voice sore from shouting all day.
Videogames: Especially Sega.
Music: Especially Electronica but I like just about all genres.
Japan: Going back this summer, love the place :)

Anyway...
Art - This is what I'm going to school for, what I've been doing since age 3, and what I want to do forever. Funny thing is I can do great in all my normal classes, but when it comes to art, I always feel second-string. Even weirder is I like it that way...it gives me the motivation to always improve.
Writing - The only thing non-art that I've been good at, or at least professors have told me. And I have fun writing too - I'm the only person in my family who can spend his boredom hours typing away on scripts that never get finished...or arguing on message boards. I even dreamt of getting to write for GameFan (of course).
Videogames - No brainer here. I used to be much much more passionate about games (read: fanatic) than I am now, but it's still my favorite hobby. I would love to get an art-based job in games...that would be the best.
Back in 93-94 I dreamt, like hardcore, about writing for EGM. To an extent, I still do. I know it's not totally true, but the editors always looked like they were having so much fun. The idea to affect tons of people with your words: beautiful.Quote:

Cartoons/drawing/animation

Target shooting: sorta like my sport I guess. When you're in your groove it's very mind-no-mind, it's not simply a matter of pulling the trigger when the reticle is over the target, it's *FEELING* the shot fall over the center of the target, you know before you register it visually. *for the record I don't like actually killing things*
Philosophizery: Just thinking about things, human perception, existance, morality, whatever.
Music: Actually just started getting really into it in the last few weeks. I guess I really only have one major obsession at any given time, and I have to drop one before I start on my next.

But I know what you mean - I used to think GameFan was a place of smiles and games. The best place to work for ever. Then you see it go down, the 'dirty laundry' being aired out...it kind of takes away from my impression of writing for a game mag. I'm sure it is fun, but it's also work.

1. Pinball Machines - I love video games, but there is something relaxing about playing a good pinball game.

3. Lego bricks (not just for kids, there are some awesome web pages out there devoted to designs by adults)
Above all those, I am passionate about my wife and daughter. There is nothing else in this world that can come even close. [/sappy dialog]
