This thread just made me realize how long many of the posters have been here at TNL. I showed up here at around the GG! debacle nearly 2 years ago, and many of the posters I remember from them are still here (and predated me to be sure). Its like a family of some kind.

Gamego may be gone, but it's roots have been placed within these boards. If anything, it's helped to create a great site for gaming discussion. :D

Yup, the bad thing is, I get so irate at the people doing stuff like that, I end up making posts against them that aren't much better. I have to constantly catch myself so I don't tell a select few to get the hell off the boards.

The sad part is that the forum I speak of HAD a fightclub. They were wrestling related fans, and although this is a huge stereotype, they're not the brightest fish in the sea.
One guy was asking me to revolt against a site because he didn't like what the guy said and wanted to take over his boards through posting. I simply asked him why? Why didn't he just NOT go to the site. I told him he was being foolish and he got mad at me.
This was a man who was made an administrator.... ugh.

I had a popular board back when, and if someone was posting nonsense I would go:
UBB pin... check
UBB pin in banned users panel... check
A whopping 2 steps. This is the mentality of these people. The sad part is, there's a poster named William who is pretty educated. He worked for IGN Xbox. I still don't know how he pulled that, though, because he didn't actually have an Xbox.
