I need help.
I have an mp3 CD player in my car. But, everytime I try to make an mp3 CD, it's incompatible.
Which settings do you use in Nero to make it work?
88, I know you do this all the time, so I better get a response from at least you!! :sneak:

Yeah i would like to burn me some MP3's.. Do i need some special CD for it? and what settings and stuff do i use for the Nero?
don't you just put them on the disc and burn it like a data cd? That way you can fit a couple dozen of them on there.
i just burn mp3's onto cd like a data cd..no problems there
I use Nero, and burn a data CD.
Works like a charm.
P.S. Car mp3 players rock. Good purchase.
So, to summarize...
Make a data CD, drag the mp3s into the window, and then burn? Don't make any folders, don't change any settings? It's a mode 1?
I guess I'll try again...
Some mp3 cd players are tricky about what formats they need. My RCA player doesn't care how you burn it, but my DVD player is more picky. These are my default setting on nero, but double check it:
Create a new data cd, go to Edit then Properties, click the ISO tab and check the settings. Mine are:
ISO Level 1
Mode 1
ISO 9660
Joliet (checked)
Leave both items in "relax ISO restrictions" off.
It also couldn't hurt to use Disc at Once mode on the CDR, although on a MP3 cd player it shouldn't matter. You may try just using a different brand of CDR also. My RCA player hates the KHypermedia discs that I have, but works great with Memorex or Prime Peripherals.
I've done mp3 CDs just as data CDs and they work. If your stereo supports playlists, or has it's own navigation for discs, you might be able to burn a playlist too, or just arrange the mp3s in folders and then burn. At least that's how it works with my RioVolt.
Also look in the manual of your stereo, I know my Kenwood deck required the folers to be laid out in a certain way.
thank you all for the useful information. I am now successfully burning mp3 CDs!
