Wow, there is not much detail in that fuzzy little screenshot, but it looks great. The bright colours and trippy graphics scream Fantasy Zone.

You could save anywhere in PS1, and the first game was pretty clear about where to go most of the time. I had no trouble figuring it out when I was 8 anyway.
