Geek Tatoos

I have no problem with people getting "bizzare" tatoos.

I mean hell, all my tatoos are bizarre (comic characters I've drawn, Kyos sun, and Ioris moon from KoF), as long as they mean something to the person.

It just seems like, atleast in my opinion, the tat has alot more meaning if it's unqiue, which, I suppose an MTV tatoo is alot more unique than a tribal tat.

Where am I going with this? Hell if I know.

My next tatoo is going to be a line of three pink ocks from my avatar/comic.

and pretty much I'm either gonna get the kanji for "heaven" (the kanji on the back of Akuma's shirt) I'm not a huge Akuma fan, I've just always used that letter on artwork and shit, way before I knew who Akuma was.
Another choice was a little chibi ninja guy. I still have to find a design I like in that dept., so that idea might stay on hold for awhile. Anyone good at drawing chibi ninja dudes? D=
Another overdone one is one of the Pac Man ghosts, like just one small one. But a lot of people have that.
And one I was debating after a thread awhile ago was getting the kanji for "nintendo", because I love what it stands for. (leave luck to heaven) So.........those are my top choices right now. Must...decide.....

All those tattoos suck ass...

Hmm...kanji tats have been popular for quite a while now. In the next few years the "mainstream" tatoo community will probably look at them as "out of style", kinda like the whole tribal tatoo backlash. (not that it matters, but just saying)

If you don't mind that, I say go for it.

Like I posted before, original/unique artwork is a personal fave of mine, so if you could get somebody to draw something up for you, that'd be key.

I'd offer to do some rough designs for you, but I'm really, really busy right now. :( You could always try the galleria forum, or talk to the people at the tatoo shop. They could point you in the direction of a good artist, though they'll charge you for it.

Yeah, thanks Kidnemo! Actually, I don't mind about the kanji outtastyle thing, that doesn't bother me. I think Kanji is pretty. Always have.

but anyway, the ninja guy is a real possibility. I'd like it somewhat small...well, I know a few artists. Someone will help me out I'm sure :D

Like, how chibi, and how ninja? A more traditional 'all in black' ninja, or something more off-beat like Strider, Naruto, or what have you?
