Armada sequel cancelled for GameCube
Metro 3D has cancelled their long-awaited Armada 2: Star Command for the GameCube, though it is still scheduled to ship for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox in September
A spokesperson for Metro 3D claimed that "the console's demographics and general 'feel' combined with its sales and rather touchy acceptance policies have influenced the decision."
Armada 2: Star Command is the a sequel to the Dreamcast cult title, Armada, which was announced shortly after the original release and has suffered numerous delays and console shifts. Features for the game include rich deep space environments, six selectable races, and multiplayer modes.

No, probably not because Armada was a pretty damned good game. I hope it doesn't end up as vaporware like it already seems to be.
It's been near 4 years since the original.
