Yeah, but I can't remember any of their names. All I remember is Lisa Ling, that one chick from the Real World, That ugly Jenniffer whatever girl, and Maria Menounos (sp?) who is now on ET on MTV. Maria is really attractive....until she opens her mouth and talks, her voice really kills it.
I remember one of the girls hosting the CNET tv show on the sci fi channel a while back. And now two of them hosts an MSNBC show and one of those morning shows.
Oh... you must be in TEH INDUSTRY!!1Quote:

I get a little pissy when people I'd think know better insinuate I indulge in piracy. Sorry to snap at you, Rou. (It was cathartic, though.)

Better than the other extreme...I.E. Gamefan. They leave enough room for what needs to be said and the rest to showcase the game itself. They are VIDEO games, after all. :pQuote:

I love the dry humor, but I always have. It's just my thing. Besides, these guys know they review freaking video games for a living. They don't take it seriously and know they shouldn't. I appreciate that more than some pretentious moron talking about game "X" being the perfect parady of modern society and the like.Quote:
- With what little space they have, they have an affinity for cracking jokes that aren't funny, instead of talking about the game.
You make a good point here, but they really don't do this on to regular a basis. The Matrix is a great example, but a single example does not a trend make. ;)Quote:
- There seems to be no merit in what they think of a game, because their opinion can contrast greatly with the score given. Mind you, I mean the review and score both from the same reviewer. Like all the editors gave Enter the Matrix 8-9, though all of them stated the same problem; the game was repetitious, boring, and didn't pull off any gameplay elements well. But? The game looks gorgeous, the animations are flawless, there's cut-scenes filmed by the original cast...all superficial things which couldn't possibly make up for a bad playing game. I would think if an editor admits to a game being boring, even all the visual flash wouldn't convince them of rating something so high. Then again, I don't like ratings, but such a gap between what's said and the final grade is grating. How could someone be so bipolar on a game?
You're intitled to your opinion, and don't think for a second I have a problem with that, but saying "they suck" is a bit to blanket for my tastes. Say "I don't like them," not "they suck." I don't like the Dave Matthew's Band, but there's no denying those guys wail on their instruments like none I've ever seen before. They're a great band, I just don't like their musical stylings. It's the same deal here.
Nah, I wasn't insunating you were a pirate. I just wasn't sure if you had a preview copy or not, because I wasn't sure if you were on the staff or not (I've only visited the front page maybe three times since I registered), or on the staff of another gaming magazine / website/ etc.Quote:

It was just a simple question, because then I was going to PM you to see how the game was, since they pushed it back and i'm interrested in it.
No harm, no foul.
Well, I can tell you right here: It's better than I was expecting, but has nothing on Beach Spikers.
Well, except much more voluptuous chicks. And a smart-ass announcer. And big head mode. Okay, it has a lot on Beach Spikers, but BS remains a better straight-up volleyball game. So does Super Spike V'Ball, for that matter.
Still, I guess you could say I was pleasantly surprised, since I'd been told it was pretty sub-par. It's at least average, from what I played. How's that for a ringing endorsement?
I don't care about Morgan Webb, but that guy who hosts X-Play with her must be beaten senseless.
