Futuristic Sports

Blast Chamber is fun. I played The Grid once but I hardly remember it.

It looks like I need to check out Dead Ball Zone and Lunar Pool. Lunar Pool was one of those games I always saw on the shelf but never felt like renting back then.

Deathrow is actually fun--especially with other people. The stadiums are really varied and the game itself is very polished. I found it new and pretty cheap (15$) and it's a lot of fun once you get into it--don't just go by the demo.

Suggestion Additions:

Flipshot's younger and more expensive brother Bang Bead.

I know I'm always on the Bitmap Brother's nuts. But seriously, their games aren't just good thier fucking charismatic.

I've never read an interview by them or even seen a picture of them. I have no idea what they are like or how they behave.

In my mind they'd be at E3 on a massive Pink Floyd style podium, screaming into the mike about how dope thier shit is while everyone stomps and chants "OWNZ".

That's my SportsCenter highlight right there.

Not exactly a sports game, but I've been wanting to try out Ninja Baseball Bat Man for awhile.

You forgot Brutal Sports Football for the Atari Jaguar. Awesome game.

The Grid played like a Quake 3 mod.

I didn't like it. Mostly because I couldn't get used to the tracking ball + stick setup.

You forgot to mention:
WipeOut, Quantum Redshift and F-Zero - all futuristic driving games. ;)

Actually...those AREN'T sports games, or "driving games" for that matter. They're "racing" games. He didn't forget. Neo's quite thorough with these type of threads.

I'd just like to say that soundwaves right, and that deathrow is quite an enjoyable game when you play it with a friend or 2 (or 3).
