UT to HL
I play both Unreal Tournament and Half-Life and was wondering if there was a way to convert UT maps(.unr) to HL maps(.bsp), or the other way around. I want to know how to do this because there's some great maps for both games, that would also be good on the other. It would also be great if models of characters could be converted also. Anyone have any knowledge of how to do this?

Of course not! :)
Unless you feel like building all of these maps from the ground up, in that case knock yourself out.

So there's no way to convert one map format to some type of stander 3D format, and then from the standard to the other map format?
-
If you come up with a way, you'd be hired by some studio in about half a heartbeat. Get crackin'.

Yeah, they're totally different.
Just off the top of my head, HL (and Quake-engine in general) maps are objects floating in infinite nothingness, where UT maps are carved out of one infinitely large block. So to speak.
Knock yourself out. :)

You're right about how UT maps are made from a block, but I have absolutely no experience with half-life maps. I'm only 15, so I don't think I'm gonna be able to figure out how convert them alone lol.
