Since I am bound by marriage to buy this game, I had it overnighted, and it should arrive tomorrow. I also will be getting that f'ugly bobblehead from GameStop. Who else is picking it up?

just you. ;)
I hope so. If that is the case then they won't make any more, so I can save $50 a year. :sneak:Quote:

I'm mildly interested in it. I really would be happy to buy it if it turned out to be good, since I do like adventure games, but damn if the gameplay doesn't look like the exact same crap :(
Why are you bound by marriage to TR?
I already got that bobblehead from GS, then I canceled my preorder.
I will be getting mine as well, when EBgames.com will send it to me(probably in a few days). I'm somewhat excited to try it out, since I like the premise(its more horror oriented this time around), and graphically it looks quite nice, and I prefer fighting human and demonic enemies, over the animals that were used in previous parts.
I'm sure that it will be at least a Decent game.
Because it's my wife's favorite series. I am expected to buy each new entry the day it is released. :(Quote:

I'm surprised your wife supports the TR franchise despite Lara's obviously male designed "features". I guess she's a strong character or something.
My wife is not very fond of Lara Croft for those reasons, plus her overexposure in the media doesn't help. AOK with me. Haven't liked a game in the series yet.
She reminds how unrealisticly built Lara is with regularity. However, she tends to enjoy checking out chicks, so it's not exactly offensive to her.Quote:

I'm getting it for my girlfriend. But, it'll stay at her house, so I'll probably never have to see it.
