Ah well. I'm in no real rush, since I imported. But damn am I ever glad I did.
I'm currently playing Tales of Destiny, and finally making progress after 4 years of owning it. The game itself is pretty standard and uninspired, except for one thing: The battle system. It's the most fun I've had in an RPG fighting monsters, probably ever. I've played about 13 hours into the game and have a bunch of cool moves, the Tech Ring, and Combo Counter, all of which makes things even more interesting. It's a shame that the nasty encounter rate somewhat spoils the experience.
ToS had better get released here, because now I'd really like to play a 3d entry to this series, providing the battle system doesn't get raped in the process.
Did Tales of Destiny II (J) for PS2 make the trip over? I can't remember. I know Eternia did, and I'd like to check it out once I beat Destiny.
No, it was never released in the US, but it's a 'greatest hits' title in Japan now so you can get it for $30 or maybe less if you can play JPS2 games. I have a copy in the mail right now in fact. Probably won't be as good as TOS, but I doubt I'll be buying a GC anytime soon.Quote:

I want these. They're only $4 a pop too, I already have all the Phantasia ones.
