John, that'd be the greatest thing ever. They could throw in that JPN SNES pseudo-sequel of sorts on it as well and make it even better.

the one that was on the satelite thing right
that would be cool as hell
or how about they continue the trend of releasing 64DD stuff. F-Zero X with Track Editor would be god like. that would be a million times better than an upgraded psuedo sequal.
would be perfect timing too considering that the SD-Digicard adaptor is about a month away from japanese release from what i remember.
Ah, I totally forgot about the 64 DD thing. John, yeah, the satellite thing. Right now, Nintendo is in a great position to do something like that. They want to do anything they can to get folks to buy their games, and this kind of thing appeals to both dedicated folks, and casual followers of the series, and even the system itself. Giving folks an extra incentive to buy, especially one as lucrative as this, never hurts.
I have a projector at home for the summer, so I'm gonna recreate the E3 big-screen gameplay in my bedroom :)
I'm estatic about this game. It's gonna be sick. In the meantime, I'll listen to Sleeveboy and play some more Wipeout 3 in preparation :)
Now they're teasing the Americans now with all the display boxes. "It's...it's...an empty GC case ;/"
Maybe I *should* get the import. I say this for every game now, only to not do it.
So basically you just slide down a cylinder the whole game? Or on the outside of a cylinder? I haven't seen any part of any movie where there's a huge 90 degree turn like the original had. I believe the original had jumps too, didnt it?
The game looks great, but to be honest it looks a little boring. You can only go down a track so many times before it becomes stale, and without competition variation I'm not compelled to play it over and over. I'm probably missing something here, though...
Well, actually not a whole lot :P. The physics and driving system (well, I guess the physics are part of that) in F-Zero games is very excellent. It's like a very believable racing game with supersonic speeds, great handling and fun tracks.

mods please close this thread or whatever.
I'll pick it up EVENTUALLY. But not at full price, probably. I just like games like Double Dash where it may be a bit slower, but the multiplayer is more chaotic and you can get in to it better. Instead of laughing at your friend because you passed him, you can take him out of the lead or maybe even form alliances in Mario Kart, to which you soon betray thereafter for your own personal gain.
"Yeah. Here I'll just take him out with this red turtle shell and you'll be in the lead!"
"Yeah man, thanks."
"wait, what's this? Another red turtle shell."
"Fuck off man, I'm in the lead now, we're winning!"
"Don't you mean, I'm winning?"
*turtle shells away!*
