That is actually quite gorgeous. That is a red pickguard, or an offshoot color? I like it and I've never pictured a guitar's pickguard to be that color ever.
Makes it look kind of odd actually.

WOW, thats beautiful :). 88, I plan on getting a guitar and learn how to play it this summer... are there any particular "packs" (Amp, Picks, Guitar, etc.) or guitars you would reccomend for a starter at a reasonable ($200-$300) price?!?

I'm afraid, though, that I will not be posting pictures of my equipment anytime soon, as I would be laughed off the stage.
That's a nice axe. Reminds of those Tom Delogne Fenders with a more Mustang-style body. How does that Dimarzio sound? Only Dimarzios I've really heard are the Super Distortion ones. Looks smooth as hell though.
My primary reccomendation would be to play as many guitars as humanly possible. See which ones work for you, how they play, that kind of thing. It'll make it a lot easier to come to a good purchasing decision.Quote:

With that, you would only really need a smaller combo amp for jamming with yourself and learning, 10 watt-25 watt is more than enough, and can usually be had for cheap. Reasonable guitars can be had a $200-$300 price range if you look around. A lot of people would reccomend a cheaper guitar starting out, but cheaper guitars tend to be harder to flow with and harder to keep in tune, and getting discouraged early on is never cool, so it's smart to go with at least a mid-range quality guitar. It really depends on the style of music you're interested in getting into, but if it's mostly rock music you're focused on, one of my reccomendations would be an affordable ESP off of their LTD line of models.
