There seems to be a slight misconception regarding the proper role of a moderator on this forum.
We're not babysitters. Our job is not to sit on top of threads and delete or move every post we deem objectionable, or possibly offensive to the original thread-starter. But when threads degenerate into all-out war, all or part of those threads go to FC.
Jeremy's thread is no different. MVS got moved into his own thread in FC, the rest stayed in Sound Off. Jeremy may be getting some rough treatment from some board members, but that's part of the risk he takes when he posts one of his attention-clamoring threads.
If Jeremy wants to post personal stuff about himself and make your own rules about who gets to post what, he can get himself a blog. In the meantime, the mods aren't going to change the rules just to shelter someone who should know better by now.

I, for one, am tired of the constant Jeremy bashing. It's immature. It annoying. It's stupid. I'm tired of reading them.
I'd ignore them, but he's being bashed EVERYTIME HE POSTS. Even if he posts something in someone else's thread regarding the subject/game in question, someone comes out of left field with a Jeremy crack.
The people who do it are more annoying then they could ever make him out to be.

Jeremy does not have his own Mod-protected thread. I do not like personal attacks on sound-off, we have a board for that. Thats where they go. This thread may get a closer look than other simply because of the level of hostility involved in these statements. These aren't things being said with a double meaning, or things being said with an ounce of sarcasm, or jest involved. These are attacks on Jeremy, not his statements or beliefs.
There is now another fucking thread in fight club for that. One of the many you people have. Now that it is there, I am not going to sit here and take the time to move your carefully thought out attacks to it, nor is any other moderator.
So therefore, if you bash him here, or in any other thread on these forums but fight club, you will be deleted.

Just to set the record straight that goes for any personal attacks of that nature. Its the code we've always had, its right there in the rules. You can fight it out all want in fight club, just leave it there when you decide to contribute something other than bashing.
