Probably all of Beatmania. Yeah, so it's technically three seperate series... If I can't have all three of them, I'll take IIDX.
Tons and tons of shit to try to AAA.
All the BM titles, provided I can get arcade cabinets up & running on an island.
... how can so many people honestly want the Mario series as the only one for the rest of their lives? How do you get good at a Mario game? After you get in 120 Stars/Shines, what the hell else is there to do?
There's nothing random about any of the titles as well; you encounter the enemies in World 1-1 similarly the first time as you do one billion times later. So what's the point?

I'd say Mario as well. Serously, is anyone suprised it's the most common choice?
I'm going to cheat here and say Bemani. Konami considers it a series so why can't I? :)
Probably because they're considering the entire franchises, which includes Mario Kart, Mario Golf, and whatever-the-hell-else. For the sake of selection, I can't say I'd disagree completely.Quote:

I mean, if I was stuck on a desert island with nothing but Tetris games, no matter how good they are, I'd easily lose my shit after awhile and begin mutilating myself before my message in a bottle ever reached the next coast.
Vladimir Pokhilko killed his entire family. Tetris is murder.
It's a toss-up between Shenmue and Sonic. On one hand, the Shenmue games have tons of arcade games in them, and the core games are fun and deep as well. Whereas the Sonic games are fun time-wasters that can be pretty deep as well. Plus, with Mean Bean Machine thrown in, there some puzzle gaming goodness. I'll go with the Sonic games.
I'm changing my answer to the Tony Hawk games 'cause I forgot about those. So much to do and so much potential to get better and better without any end in clear sight.
