I'm surpised no one's made an official thread for this yet. There's also been no talk about it, though it was on a lot of people's what-I'm-going-to-get-in-July lists.
I had a grand old time with this at E3 and would've had it day one but I was under the impression Ubi Soft was going to send it to me (unfortunately, that didn't pan out so now I'll have to scrounge up some monkey money).
Anyways, discuss the game! Don't tell me us Americans finally get this game and no one's buying it.
I was going to make the official thread, since this is one of my most wanted games, but considering I don't have the money for it now I wouldn't have anything to talk about :( It sure looks monkey-riffic, though...
What Andy said applies to me too unfortunately. For those who haved played it, does it surpass the first game?
I'm going to end up getting the import, as I have no way to play US PS2 games. And I've never played the original, so I've no basis for comparison, but it looks wonderful.
Like Andy and NZ, I also want the game.... but I also don't have the dosh. I have a pile of shame I am trying hard to make a dent in before I buy anything anyway! Plus, there are several games ahead of AE2 on my shopping list. So, unfortunately it'll be a while before I can offer my 2¢ on the game. :(

I picked it up last week. Its pretty good. Basically if you liked the 1st game you will like this one. I like that all of the 300 monkeys have names. Plus the only thing you have to find in the game IS monkeys. No shitty item fetch quest bullshit. Its kinda short though. I finished it once around 6hrs. But to complete it totally you need to get all 300 monkeys. I'm about 50 away from that. If I had to rate it I'd give it an 8 - 8.5

I played through the entire import when I got it (About a year ago :lol: ). Do a search for it on the board, my impressions are in there somewhere....
Anyone played the one with the pantless monkeys? (i think it was a side-story to the main franchise or somethin'?)
