sleeveboy is French? O_O
Tout le monde est un petit peu de francais au jour de la Bastille.
(Or something.)
This is kind of bizarre, because I rented three French movies and started learning French the other day.!!Quote:
So today, when your former allies in the Revolutionary War celebrate their independence, watch a French movie, buy some French bread, drink an Orangina, read "Candide", listen to Serge Gainsbourg, or do something else French.
Happy Bastille Day!
Go read A Tale of Two Cities, you uncultured asses. :p
It was written my an englishman wasn't it?
For a good french film I suggest "8 Women."
The French Revolution was a bloody, gruesome affair. And one of the main reasons for the execution of Louis XVI was due to his financial support to the US (through military, supplies, etc) during the Revolutionary War.
At least the Revolutionary War was somewhat civil, despite the guerilla warfare tactics used towards the end.
I will resist the urge to speak French, even though the oppurtunity calls for it, SGGG. ;)
HAPPY BASTILLE DAY! I'm going to lop off my boss's head tomorrow.
Vive la France? Vive la BRISCO BOLD! ;)
Tomorrow will henceforth be known as "Brisco Bold Day" in honour of your decapatating of your boss. :p
:kirby: "I'm celebrating like the marquis de sade"
