I watch a ton, but I've never been subjected to anyone like that. I guess I'm just not a part of the true anime culture. :p
Living in a big city, I've been to my share of anime clubs and conventions.
There's very few normal people at them. Don't even get me started, because I'll be typing for half an hour.
