Erm, well.... it's not good, that's for sure. It has a few redeeming features.... but the thing that fataly kills the playability for me is the fact that you have to wade through the same exact gobs of text every time you fail... and the game itself is not that good or clear to begin with so it's just not worth it. :(

Looks great, plays poorly. There was so much potential there... but the end result was incredibly ho-hum, to put it nicely. One of my biggest disappointments. :(

This might get me over my chronic EB hate long enough to pick up a second one...and a third. :D

I saw this thread and I decided to check out ebay, cause it reminded me that I really wanted snk vs capcom. I ended up getting the system for 29.99, and the game for 14.99. From the same seller too, so shipping will be cheap. Just need the link cable now to play with a friend who already owns this.

only the most hyped because it was one of the only translated rpg's out at the time for it (bio-motor pokemon being the other). jesus i remember how everyone at Sector: NGP went crazy over it and quickly flamed the shit out of it a day or two later. i think i bought mine at a gamestop or something, i should have returned it for something else like Neo Turf Masters.

Dive Alert ain't all that hot. it's slow as shit and it's true that you gotta wade through the long ass text every single time. that'll drop your interest level at least a gagillion points. good thing snk didn't release the wireless link (supposedly letting you play with 64 others) for it over here.

I already have a NGPC, Sonic, Metal Slug 1st, SvC Card Fighters, and MotM. I'm set.

Now, if someone would hook me up with Card Fighters 2...

Has anyone used a refurb NGPC before? I was holding out for a new one since mine is a little flakey, but the price is right for the system and games combo. I'm just worried about the stick, most of the ones I see for sale around here have sticks that feel like they are dead.

Dont remind me..I had the little gem, and sold it :( , now I want it back.

What would be better is if the game had 2 languages in it. When I owned it, I never even played it..it was in the box the whole time.
