Well?
Well?
Yes and no. There's no telling where it all could have gone if it hadn't been prematurely killed. However, I think PS2 has come into its own and is now the better system in terms of overall number of fun games. I still have more DC games but I know the PS2 will continue to be supported.
Pa
I almost said yes because it was the most "affordable"
...
*Coughcdrcough*
Probably. I love my PS2 a bit more, but that's only because of a single game series, so it's safe to say that the DC wins.
...Unless we count modded Xboxen.
Yes, it has the most games I really love from this era but the PS2 is very close behind it and will surpass it soon enough.
It was certainly the best paced. So much goodness in so little time. I still probably play it the most though, so yeah.
It is definitely my personal favorite, but I don't know if it's the "best" since a lot of the games have gotten ports or sequels on other platforms (depends on the definition I guess). PS2 definitely has a ton of quality games, but none have equalled the oomph of titles like Shenmue and JSR at their respective releases.
Yes, since Shenmue is probably my favorite game of all time, with JGR and Crazy Taxi not too far behind.
I feel that if it would have had more time and developers making games for it, it would've been unstoppable. As it was, it still had some of the best games of this generation, some looking as good if not better than most of the games out there now, especially on the PS2.
The Dreamcast was a wonderful "niche" system. It still is ,by far, the best system to own if you dig fighting games.
Yeah, I'd say so.
