I'd can't wait to see some of Capcom's characters in the Guilty Gear style, instead of the usual copy/paste madness.
I have no idea what they're going to do about the buttons though. I suspect that they'll try to bring GG up to a 6 button system, since it's almost there already.
Its going to be interesting to see how this will all work out, GG plays so much different from SF. I think the SF characters are going to have to be the ones to change more than it was in CvsSNK games. In order to compete with the GG speed and maddness I think the Capcom characters will have to play more like their MvsC versions or something.
I think there's gonna be a huge emphasis on Darkstalkers, cause one of the guys at Sammy really dug it -- also, the gothic characters of DS match Guilty Gear's universe. But there will be some SFers in there for sure.
Good news, but a little ridiculous as well.
Why not call it Guilty Gear vs Capcom?
Posted on mmcafe that a Japanese report confirmed there would be Project Justice / Rival Schools characters in this upcoming matchup.
It would be interesting for Sammy to put in some characters from some of their other games, even if I have never heard of them it would just make it interesting to see.

That said, even though anybody with even a remote amount of foresight could've told you this was going to happen, this news is awesome. We'll finally see SNK fighters running on NEW hardware instead of being limited to the decrepit trappings of an almost 15 year old system.
SNK vs Capcom is nice and all but it looks like feces. And they BETTER freakin redraw Morrigan and Feliciaor I will kill.
