Between these shots and the ones on the main site's flash animation, I'm left with my hopes that the game was going to look a bit better than this. I know these shots are small, blurry, and early. I am very glad it appears to be essentially a 2D/2.5D game, as opposed to a 3D overhead game ala Power Stone (nothing against Power Stone).
I always liked the Ayami Kojima design of Simon Belmont, but I kinda wish they went for a more "classic" design for Simon. Oh well. Still anticipating this. If it's even half as fun as SSB:M, it'll be worth every penny.
(... just wish it looked closer to the GC SSB:M than the N64 SSB)
