I played for another hour, and saw some improvement. I worked on getting higher break combos. And I figured out how to kill that damned caterpillar, which directly lead to me making it to the 2nd boss. Unfortunately, I haven't beaten him yet, but tommorrow afternoon after school, I'll spend a few hours playing, and I'll make sure to spend time doing the second boss in Practice mode. Probably Yellow or Red border, as that's where I usually am when I get to him.

Is this a good way to indicate which part of the stage you're on? Does the game loop? Because if it does, then that might conflict with my way, as people might confuse 2.3 for 2-3 or something like that. And I realized I had no reason to include the border, as you'll always be in the Red border when your game ends.

Here is my updated score. I could've done better, but once I broke the 10 million mark I got really excited and pretty much blew it. Intrestingly, when you get the top score, your score will flash red. Kind of distracting.

I'm clearly not very good, as my improvement is only a mere million points. Still haven't killed that stupid crippled bird, but I will make sure he dies soon. I near had him in this run too, but got hit by his laser.

Phew, man. Finally getting down a workable score tactic on Stage 1. Finishing up tonight with a solid score of
11,315,180 Stage 3.2
Once I improve on the 2nd stage I could be up in the 15 million range by tommorrow. Off to bed. Good luck guys.

Woo hoo! It arrived in my mailbox about two hours ago. Awesome game, I really like it. The best I've done so far:

I got like, 5 million of that by killing the stage 2 boss with 8 seconds left, on red border.
