Finally got my copy this morning. At first I wasn't really into it, but it's starting to get really fun now. Here's my best after my first few hours of playing.

No, I haven't. I'm still trying to figure out how to break 5 million on Stage 1 Green Border. Seems I only have so much Break Laser to go around=not enough. My score improved to 8 million range by the end of Stage 2 though.Quote:

I guess the good players all tried to enter 6C and 6D, and the "low" 110 something millions score was the best they received on 6B.
That midboss in stage 1.2 is one way to get some points. Let it start spitting out bullets at a faster rate, then be ready to clear that stuff out and toast the midboss with your break laser. I checked out the Stage 1 Green (1) demo for this.Quote:

Yeah, the red border is insane. I've been messing around with it and managed to get 10M on the first stage. And that's not even trying to get a huge hit counter.
So I went back and tried to replicate, as well as getting 500+ hits, and I do everything right except right at the end of the boss battle... I can't evade the bullets while it shoots its second break laser, so I have to waste the thing early. My best was +5 seconds.
Shinya, how the fuck did you get 19mil? Does finishing a boss with a break counter give you a huge bonus?
Oh, I also played "normally". As in, I started on green, and bordered-up whenever possible. Looks like I move up a notch in the chart:
