Rainbow Six 3

Xbox Live sure does suddenly kick some major ass now doesnt it? Only online game that I want on PS2 is Socom 2, which I really could do without now.

Yeah, with Rainbow Six 3 kicking all types of different ass and Counter-Strike just around the corner I'm really not looking forward to SOCOM II anymore.

I was such a big fan too :( It's too crappy going back to play PS2 games online now.

Well, any match over 8 players officially does nothing for me. Me and Latro were in a game -- taking turns shooting each other in the back, apparently -- but never mind trying to hold anything approaching a conversation. Too chaotic. The co-op modes are fantastic, though.

Hat's off for the voice recognition, too, something I've been pining after forever now. Granted, sometimes it takes a couple tries and, yes, there was that one time when I muttered "oh shit" under my breath and one of my men tossed a flash/bang in response.

Still. The communicator is about a million times cooler right now.

I'm too afraid to play the game now. My rank/ELO is rather high and people are always gunning for me. :( last I looked my ELO was 1380 something. Crazy... too bad if I get killed by someone with a low ELO mine plummets. Oh well, I want it to go down really. I watched my bro play a quick game last night and the bastard killed a team of 6. Thats just stupid. :D

Wow, I really suck. Still, it was pretty fun watching Sl1p repeatedly burst into flames.

Seriously, great times tonight. I met a ton of cool people through a streak of games. My night started off with a really serious toned match with everyone on top of their game (I still felt totally green at the time), issuing commands, setting up ambushes, flanks, ect. By the end of the night I was really comfterable with everything and ran into Prince Planet in a totally casual game. Nearly every round ended with hilarity.

Hey guys. I just wanted to make a quick appology about last night. I played a little with Mog, but two things came up last night.
1. my connection has been super shitty for the last couple days, I will be getting things ironed out soon though.

2. my communicator was totally destroyed last night, & no voice chat really kills the fun of this game. I wanted to play more, but between that & the lag, all fun was sapped from the game.

I didn't want you guys to think I was being rude by not talking or playing for very long.

Rainbow Six 3 is crazy cool. I just got done playing two hours online co-op with a friend of mine. It's hard doing it with just two players, but it's damn fun. Using the voice com to call out tangos and coordinate dual room rushes.

I wasn't ever really a fan of RS on PC, but I gave this a shot last night and I'm gonna have to go buy it. I'll be on later today.

so, is anyone up for co-op? i should be on later tonight/tomorrow night.
