Click "Story," "Characters," and "System."
Edit:
Release date is supposedly 9/22/2004 (ncsx is taking preorders), although http://sega.jp hasn't updated their calendar yet.
By the way, could a mod delete the subtitle to this thread? It's inaccurate. Thanks.
STILL no USA release?

I have a feeling someday a company like Atlus will allow us to play a Sakura Taisen game in the U.S. Hopefully.
I have a feeling that the games Atlus USA decides to bring over instead will be more worth playing. Sega has done a great job of killing my interest in the Sakura Taisen series.
I don't mean to sound presumptuous, but one really needs to know at least some Japanese to enjoy the ST Universe. It's a great feeling to be able to apply and derive enjoyment out of something you've sweat blood to learn.

ST5e0 will feature non-linear mission-based battles, a level-up system based on points awarded during battle, and the usual LIPS conversation system.
Meanwhile, an official comment from Sega...

Dear Mr. [deleted],
Thank you for e-mailing Sega Technical Support.
We do not plan to develop the game in North America although some of the new Sakura Taisen games are set in the United States.
Information about future Sega game releases is shown at our web site shortly before the game is released.
Just go to www.sega.com and select Sega of America. Future releases are given by Title, by the Platform, and by the ESRB (rating).

The automated response didn't answer my question. The next two Sakura Taisen games will feature the United States as their setting. I think this would be the perfect opportunity to give the series a chance in the US market. Does Sega of America have plans to localize "Sakura Taisen V Episode 0" or "Sakura Taisen V" in the US?
I'm glad they're trying a few new things there, I wonder if they are doing the same thing for V or is this just for Episode 0.
God, fuck you Sega. SoA is really sucking lately. Agetec picking up SC5-2, MS picking up Outrun 2, Mastiff doing GunGrave OD, Ubi doing Advance Guardian Heroes... Seems like SoA just doesn't feel like releasing stuff anymore.
I say it's about time we get on Atlus or someone to bring this over.
Altus USA is releasing SMT3 and Digit Devil Saga. They don't need Sega's sloppy seconds. Especially on a high risk venture like the Sakura Taisen series.Quote:
