But really...I think the issue here isn't about this kid who wants to kill himself (that's another debate), it's the fact that this band that seems to be known for doing gruesome things on stage, and then claims in all its innocence that it just wants to raise awareness for right-to-die rights. No, it's fighting for a cause, not cashing in on another sensationalized act. No, really...

Bah. How come I can't swallow that?

But again, I don't live in FL, I've never heard of these guys (an indication of their lack of talent?), and they won't get away with it anyway, no matter how activist they behave in regards to assisted suicide.

Maybe we can get the band to kill themselves on stage as well.

I have a problem with both doctrines as they apply here. Mostly, though, I have a problem with anyone that would make a suicide part of a sideshow and try to pass it off as an act of dignity. It makes me feel that this guy just wants to add to the shock value of his favorite circus more than he wants to make a serious political statement. Is nothing sacrosanct to the bored, directionless morons of today?

Psst... I agree. "Thou Shalt Not Kill" includes oneself, as well.

This is sick, though. Supporting "Physician-Assisted Suicide" by performing "Mentally-Ill Guy Kills Himself In Front of ROCK AND ROOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL" makes no sense. The band's views also make no sense, but I'm not gonna get into that now.
