I just got the game yesterday as well. I don't expect it to be the best music game in its genre, but it should be average at best. I plan on importing the Japanese versions anyway. Besides, we all the know the real reason we got this was to hold us over until Jungle Beat comes out. :)
I agree with Mzo.
And Chux, Abaranger is on the japanese version, but Dekaranger is on the japanese version of part 2.
I played the Japanese version and declared it to be the worst music game of all time, finally dethroning Taiko no Tatsujin.
I played the American version about 2 days ago. It is still the worst music game of all time.
But look on the bright side, Jungle Beat might be entertaining.
I was going to pick this up, but I guess I'll wait for more response on this..unless this game is selling well on eBay than I might pick it up, if its not good, than I can unload it on eBay.
We got quite few of these in at my Best Buy the other day, and I have only seen one person buy one (very butch looking lesbian-lady, but thats beside the point). So far I have yet to be asked about them or anything. I expect this to do well around christmas, because parents tend to seem to like buying their kids something beyond just a disc, something thats more of a novelty. DDRs and EyeToys flew off the shelves because of that aspect last year because its something that you actually interact with. But as of right now, people arn't interested.
It's a lot more fun 2 player.
So is Conflict: Desert Storm.
